EVENT 3: Final Review Study Guide

These are the notes I took during the presentation:

Best of Event Project:
-covered the whole event and added some things related to it
-did her own research
-label on the photos
-descriptive subtitles to photos 
-related the event to what we learned
-this is the first event photo on my phone

-best of Midterm Project:
-student came and met with the TA b4 she turned it in
-by an engineering student—> incorporated his engineering learning into his project
-how do robots and superheroes merge
-what is a device that an really save you
-focused on what it means to have the design and aesthetics work together

Vesna: whatever you do in your life you will need to pitch something to somebody at some point
-when you learn how to very quickly explain your pitch people call that an elevator pitch
-b/c you meet people who are busy so u need to pitch it in an elevator
-learning how to very quickly come up with an idea thats original 


Blog Summaries: 
-do a summary about everything you blog about
-every bodies is different
-go back and look at everything you did and put it into one document and edit it
-include pictures
-copy and paste your blogs and events into one big amazing paper
-save as a PDF
-think about what you got out of all your blogs
-compiled blogs section: copy and paste your blogs or u can change it 
-summary is 300-500 words 
-don't say like i enjoyed learning this
-summarize the content of the 10 weeks
-say why you like it or what you like about it
-write a weekly blog about your own blogs
-due june 9th 



Best of final papers:
-use your major as your base
-do what you know
-embedded photos
-the way the images have a rhythm they carry the photo forward
-citations under images 
-essay due june 11th
-1500-2000 worlds
-double spaced


Final papers:
-write a research essay on one topic from the past 9 weeks and connect a scientific innovation to an artist who works with the same subject
-explain the technology that drives both art and science 
-intro: explain why you find the subject u chose interesting and what you have learned into the process. Is it related to your major and/or to what are engaged in extra-curricular
-

My plan moving forward:

I want my topic nailed down Friday June 2nd.
-To do this I need to devote a little time each day to research.
-I want to focus on the ocean and specifically surfing.
-I want to leave myself at least 4 days to write the piece.
-Want to leave my self one day to edit it after I have finished writing it.
